Complimentary Fluoride Application with your Child’s Dental Check-Up. Recommended twice a year for children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old.

Why Fluoride

Fluoride is a natural mineral that prevents against cavities as well as building strong tooth enamel. Evidence shows that children who have regular fluoride varnish applied by the Dentist will have less cavities long term.

How it is applied

Fluoride varnish is painted on the top and sides of the tooth with a small brush. It is sticky but hardens once it comes in contact with saliva. It comes in different flavours (children prefer watermelon flavour).

Fluoride Varnish

Fluoride varnish is a highly concentrated form of fluoride which is applied professionally to the tooth’s surface by a Dentist (we use 5% Sodium Fluoride).
